So, I decided to eat anything I wanted this week because I am working out more regularly. The result was a 3 lb. gain. I have still lost 8 lbs. overall but I am definitely yoyo-ing. I would love to think I gained 3 lbs. of muscle but you an I both know that's not true.
P.S. I am beginning to hate Wednesday's.

I am back down to a 11lb. weight loss. This is in spite of the fact that I have been terrible at staying away from junk food. I also think I am gaining muscle, whenever I do this I tend to gain a little weight. Overall, I am happy with today's weigh in. I did not have any candy yesterday, although it was calling to me at 9:00 p.m. Let's see how long my willpower can hold out this time.

Due to the rain, not owning a pool, and having our immune system get a little run down when we swim too much, we will not be getting 100 swimming hours this summer. However, I will continue to keep track until swimming season is over. This week I have gone to Zumba and Spin and finally feel like I have a little muscle to help me out. Yesterday I put so much effort into Spin my feet felt like bricks and my legs were silly putty. Today I feel like I was hit by a Mack truck, but in a good way. I also have an awesome Spin Instructor who calls me out every time she sees me slacking. It is 100% brutal and I love it. I am SUCKING at the diet thing as usual. I wasn't going to do Gubler Mommy's Weirdo Plan but I think starting today I will. However, I will be keeping these miles separate from the exercise miles.

Weigh In Wednesday
I am down six pounds so far, but I am still two pounds away from where I was before I got pregnant with L. Which sounds good, except I lost 30 pounds while pregnant with her. When I breastfeed, the pounds just pack on! It totally sucks. Anyway, hopefully I can combat this a little bit. I am tempted to do a Herbal life kind of diet for the next two weeks, because I can already feel the judgefest happening in Denver. Oh, well!

Gubler Mommy's Weirdo Plan
Kathryn named my health plan as you can probably tell. Here it is:
First person to reach 500 miles of exercise wins $25. Every 15 minutes of exercise equals 1 mile, or the actual miles you run, walk, bike, etc...
No soda
No candy
No fast food
Homemade treats are okay. This means ingredients mixed together from scratch. No eating half a bag of marshmallows from the cupboard.
Kids drink 80 oz of water (adjust accordingly) Adults drink 120 oz (or half of your body weight in ounces).
Each candy or soda infraction is -1 mile. Fast food is -5 miles. Each water goal reached is +1 mile.

Cookies
Wednesday I decided that I really needed to obey my own diet rules. What better way to stay on track than to make cookies right? Yesterday I made cookies and today I went to Melissa's house. Any guesses as to what she made? I am proud to say, although I have been heavily tempted, I have not eaten any cookies.......yet. They are still calling to me but hopefully my family will finish them off before my willpower caves. I have been right on track for the last two days. Hopefully, the scale will reflect that on Wednesday. Also, FIT did make me sore but I plan to go back asap.

So, I finally weighed my today and I am back up to an 8lb. total weight loss. Luckily it's not zero. Monday I went to Zumba and Spin but was not sore Tuesday. Today I will be going to an aerobics/weightlifting class called F.I.T. (Fitness Interval Training) If I am not sore after it I will have to add running to the mix. In two weeks I am going to try Weeviltown Crossfit and they do sell t-shirts so I will probably have to join. :)

I finally figured out how to post! I keep forgetting that I used a different email. I am dumb. Blah. Whatever. I am my mother's child. Forgetful.
This weekend sucked because I ate a bunch of crap and everything-being out of town on the fourth of July and all. I didn't eat fried alligator, but I did eat Jimmy John's, Taco Time, Blanding's famous Patio, frozen pizza, donuts, Pizza Hut, and Dairy Queen. I also ate candy, rice crispies, Cheetos, Dr. Pepper, Dr. Pepper, and more Dr. Pepper. I am sure I am leaving something out, but by the time I got home, I felt like if I exercised, I would sweat grease. Yuck! I am glad to be back to eating healthy.
I did Zumba for 14 minutes today and was sweating like a pig. My muscles were seizing, and my heart felt like it would explode. So...yeah. I am pretty sure that if I was more out of shape, I would be dead. Since the goal is to be healthy, I have a long way to go. But, better to start now than later. So...off to the races (or the health food store).

Holiday Madness
The fourth was AWESOME! We went to Freedom Fest, lit fireworks in Melissa's backyard, BBQed, and swam for hours. From a diet standpoint it was brutal. The Y was closed for classes all week so that was hit number one. I did use the equipment Monday but that was the only day. Freedom Fest was a day early so that day came with some fried alligator, cotton candy, and not a lot of healthy anything else. Then the actual fourth came with chips and queso dip, cake, and pasta salad. Of course I bowed to the holiday atmosphere and ate anything I wanted. So here it is the 5th of July and I am going to try to work off the past two days. Let's not forget I have to fit into a formal in exactly two weeks and I want to look a little better not worse.
